"I am thrilled and excited to meet the girls and coaches and potentially compete for my home country," Cardaño-Hillary said in a phone interview. "This will help my overall game by playing with a diverse and talented group as well as getting experience in the European style of play. I enjoy the game of basketball and this experience will be a lot of fun."
