#TBT2019 Primer: What You Need To Know

FAIRFAX, Va. – A talented group of George Mason University men's basketball alumni – dubbed the Green Machine – will suit up for the chance at $2 million during the annual TBT event this summer.
 
When?
The Green Machine begins play starting Friday, July 26 during regional action at the Siegel Center in Richmond, Va. Mason will battle The Web – a University of Richmond alumni team – at 6:40 p.m. Friday. In the single elimination tournament, Mason will move on with a victory Friday.
 
Here's the path to regional victory for the Green Machine:
Friday, July 26, 6:40 p.m. - vs. The Web (Richmond)
Saturday, July 27, 7 p.m. - vs. Ram Nation or DRC*
Sunday, July 28, Noon - Regional Final*

What Happens If The TBT Green Machine Wins The Regional?
The players will receive 25 percent of the ticket sales in Richmond and move on to the Championship Round in Chicago Aug. 1-6

• Won the Czech League and Czech Cup titles with ČEZ Nymburk in 2016-17
• Part of Mason's 2011 NCAA Tournament Team
• 6th all time at Mason in assists (380); 1,048 career points
 
Isaiah Tate (2007-11)
2018-19 Team: The St. John's Edge (Canada)
• Part of Mason's 2008 and 2011 NCAA Tournament teams
• Averaged 7.0 ppg in the 2011 NCAA Tournament
• 2010-11 CAA All-Academic
• Averaged 6.2 points and shot 41.2 percent from 3-point range as a senior
 
Mike Morrison (2008-12)
2018-19 Team: s.Oliver Würzburg (Germany)
• 8-year pro career
• Played for Skyliners Frankfurt from 2014-18
• Averaged 8.0 ppg, 7.5 rpg in 2011 NCAA Tournament
• T-2nd at Mason in blocks (174), 16th in rebounds (658)
 
Ryan Pearson (2008-12)
2018-19 Team: JDA Dijon (France)
• 8-year pro career
• 2012 CAA Player of the Year; Two-time all-CAA
• 2012 AP All-America Honorable Mention
• 10.5 ppg, 4.0 rpg in 2011 NCAA Tournament
• 6th at Mason in scoring (1,626 pts), t-5th in FT made (420), 8th in rebounds (806)
 
Will Thomas (2004-08)
2018-19 Team: Valencia Basket (Spain)
• 2019 EuroCup MVP (17.3 ppg)
• Led Valencia to the 2017 Spanish League title and Supercup title
• 12-year pro career (multiple teams)
• Part of NCAA Tournament teams at Mason in 2006 and 2008
• Two-time all-CAA selection
• All-time Mason leader in FG% (.616); 3rd in rebounds (993); 10th in scoring (1,564)
• Averaged 13.0 points/9.0 rebounds/50.9 FG% in 2006 NCAA Tournament
 
Folarin Campbell (2004-08)
2018-19 Team: Bondi Ferrara (Italy)
• 11-year pro career in Italy, Germany and other global leagues
• Part of NCAA Tournament teams at Mason in 2006 and 2008
• Two-time all-CAA selection
• 5th all-time at Mason in assists (392), 11th in scoring (1,545 pts)
• Team-high 15.4 ppg, 2.6 apg in 2006 NCAA Tournament (62.5 FG%, 50.0 3pt FG%)
