RICHMOND, Va. - The Basketball Tournament (TBT) – the $2 million summer basketball event broadcast live on ESPN networks – revealed Tuesday that The Green Machine, a George Mason alumni team featuring multiple members of their 2006 Final Four team and 2008/2011 NCAA Tournament teams, has gained entry into this year's 64-team field.

The Green Machine is organized by general manager Johnny Coleman, an employee of George Mason University. Their roster includes:

• Folarin Campbell (2004-08)
• Will Thomas (2004-08)
• Mike Morrison (2008-12)
• Ryan Pearson (2008-12)
• Isaiah Tate (2007-11)
• Bryon Allen (2010-14)
• Erik Copes (2011-15)

• Phil Scrubb (Carleton)

Lamar Butler, the 2006 NCAA East Regional Most Outstanding Player, will serve as the team's head coach.

The Green Machine will be competing in TBT's Richmond Regional in Richmond, Va., at the Siegel Center from July 26-28. The region is hosted by Ram Nation (VCU alumni) and also features four-time defending champion Overseas Elite, Best Virginia (West Virginia alumni), Seven City Royalty (Old Dominion alumni), The Web (Richmond alumni), Hilltop Dawgs (UMBC alumni) and Washington Redskins cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie's Team DRC.

The Green Machine, the third-seeded team in Richmond, will take on sixth-seeded The Web in their first-round matchup at 6:40 p.m. on Friday, July 26 (game time subject to change). If they were to advance, The Green Machine would face the winner of Ram Nation and Team DRC on Saturday, July 27. The championship game of the Richmond Regional will be held on Sunday, July 28, and the winner of that game will receive a regional prize equivalent to 25% of ticket sales in Richmond before advancing to Chicago for Championship Week August 1-6 to compete for $2 million.
