ECAC/IC4A Results
PRINCETON, N.J. – The George Mason men's and women's track and field teams earned multiple medals at the ECAC/IC4A Championships, along with a new school record, over the weekend.
Freshman Siobhra O'Flaherty led the way for the Patriots, as the runner earned gold in the women's 10,000-meter run (35:37.19). She took home the title in the ECAC in that event with her effort.
Junior
Khalilah Hamer continued to her impressive third-year campaign by finishing with the silver medal in the 3,000-meter run (9:48.02).
On the men's side, senior
Trent Lancaster set a new school record in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 8:59.42. The senior finished fourth in the event for the Patriots.

Tyler Benson and sophomore
Jordan Turner earned a bronze medal, finishing with a time of 40.64.
Both teams earned top 10 finishes over the weekend. The women's team finished ninth (28 points) at the ECAC Championships on Sunday at Weaver Stadium. The Patriot men finished with an identical score (28 points) and placed ninth in the IC4A Championships.
Mason student-athletes on both teams will now find out if their times or marks qualify them for the NCAA East Preliminary Championships on May 23-25 at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Fl. later in the week. The top 48 declared times or marks in each individual event and the top 24 relays in the East region qualify for the regional meet.
