FAIRFAX, Va. - The George Mason University men's basketball team remains at home to host Richmond on Wednesday night inside EagleBank Arena.
Tip-off between the Patriots and Spiders is set for 7 p.m. Wednesday's game will be broadcast on ESPN+. In addition, "Voice of the Patriots" Bill Rohland will call the game on the GoMason Digital Network, with streaming coverage beginning at 6:45 p.m.
PATRIOT POINTS
* The Patriots have won 12 of their past 18 A-10 games (.667), although the Green & Gold have dropped four of their past six contests. Mason posted its best A-10 start in program history (7-1).
* Mason has tied its all-time record for Atlantic 10 victories (in its sixth A-10 season). The Patriots still have four regular season contests remaining.
* Last time out, Mason dropped its second-straight game with a tough 79-78 loss to Duquesne Saturday. The Patriots led by as many as 19 in the first half, but Duquesne battled back while shooting 53.1 percent in the second half to claim victory.

Otis Livingston II (18 pts, 4-9 3pt FG, 5 ast) and
Javon Greene (18 pts, 7-11 FG, 6 reb, 3 ast, 2 stl) led the Patriots against the Dukes.
* With Livingston's third point vs. Duquesne, he became the fourth player in Mason history to eclipse the 1800-point plateau.He is the only Patriot to post 100+ assists in all four seasons of a career.

Jordan Miller grabbed 10 offensive rebounds vs. the Dukes. It marked the most by a Mason player since Shevon Thompson pulled down 10 against New Mexico in Nov. 2014 during the Puerto Rico Tip-Off.
* Miller is second in the A-10 in field goal percentage in league games (.647) and tied for sixth in offensive rebounds/game (3.0).
* Junior
Justin Kier added 14 points vs. Duquesne. He has scored at least 11 points in 18 of the past 20 games. He is just 54 points away from 1,000 for his career.
* In A-10 play, Mason is third in the league in rebounding margin (+2.9). The Patriots have only been outrebounded in one of the previous six contests.
* With a victory over Richmond, Mason would record its 11th home win, marking the program's best total since 2011-12.

HISTORY vs. RICHMOND
Wednesday's game marks the 62nd all-time meeting between George Mason and Richmond in men's basketball (Mason trails 24-37). The Patriots are 14-11 vs. the Spiders in Fairfax and 8-19 in games played in Richmond (2-7 on neutral courts). Mason has won 11 of the past 15 meetings, including six of the past eight, dating back to the old CAA years. Mason is 5-2 vs. Richmond under head coach
Dave Paulsen, although the Spiders have won each of the past two matchups. Richmond won the first contest this season, 81-67, inside the Robins Center on Feb. 6. Mason trailed 72-50 with 7:44 to go, but raced back with a 15-0 run to cut it to seven (72-65) with 3:43 left. The Patriots had a chance to cut it to four or five with under three minutes left, but could not convert. The Spiders then got the lead back up to 11 (78-67) with a little over a minute remaining.

Jordan Miller added 14 points and eight rebounds.
A LOOK AT THE SPIDERS (12-15, 6-8 Atlantic 10; KenPom No. 194, NET No. 187)
Richmond was picked to finish 10th in the 2018-19 Atlantic 10 preseason poll. The Spiders went 6-7 in non-conference play and dropped seven of their first nine A-10 contests. However, UR has signficiantly improved over the past month while winning four of its past five games. Richmond is one of the most deliberate teams in the country and ranks 276th in adjusted tempo. The Spiders are 19th in the nation in effective field goal percentage (.554) and sixth nationally in 2-point field goal percentage (.576). But Richmond is 288th in defensive efficiency (1.09 points/possession). Sophomore Grant Golden is second in the A-10 in scoring (17.7 ppg) and leads the team in rebounding (6.9 rpg). Sophomore guard Jacob Gilyard is third in the nation in steals/game (3.16) and ranks second in the A-10 in scoring in league play (18.1 ppg). Freshman forward Nathan Cayo is 13th in the nation in field goal percentage (.621) and averages 14.2 points in conference games.
