The Patriots (6-3, 2-2 MAC) fell to the Buffalo Bulls in the final match of the three-match road swing.
The Bulls jumped out to a 6-0 lead winning the first two matches. At 125, Mason's
Talha Farooq had a 4-3 lead entering the third period, but the Bulls Jordan Reyes got an escape and a takedown to take the 7-4 decision. Freshman
Josh Jones lost, 7-2, to No. 15 Derek Spann at 133.
Mason won the next two matches to tie the dual, 6-6.
Alex Madrigal won by decision over Marcus Robinson, 9-2 and
Colston DiBlasi edged John Arceri, 2-0.
Buffalo finished the match winning five of the last six matches. The Patriots
Anthony Lombardo finished the Patriots scoring with a major decision over Jake Lanning, 13-2.
