Box Score DAVIDSON, N.C. – The George Mason women's volleyball team rallied in the third set, but it was not enough to power past Davidson on Sunday afternoon. The Patriots fell in four sets, 20-25, 19-25, 25-21, 20-25, at Belk Arena in Davidson, N.C. Mason moves to 4-19 overall and 0-11 in Atlantic 10 play. With the win, the Wildcats improve to 10-13 overall and 5-5 in league play.
Mason will finish the 2019 season in front of its home crowd with three straight home matches, beginning with George Washington at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 8 at the RAC.

Emily Konchan dished out 42 assists as the team's starting setter.

Stephanie Der registered 17 digs to steady the Patriot defense.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- The deciding factor in the first set proved to be a 6-1 scoring run for the Wildcats – winning the frame 25-20.
- The Patriots were held to a .037 hitting percentage in the second set. Davidson claimed the frame by a score of 25-19.
- Mason recorded its highest clip in the third set, .314, to win the frame, 25-21. The Patriots opened the set on a 7-1 scoring run.
- Davidson tabbed 17 team kills compared to Mason's mark of 12 in the fourth set of play. The Wildcats ultimately took the final frame, 25-20.
- Freshman Marley Willard tabbed six service aces in her first action since Sept. 20 vs. Wake Forest.
- Sophomore Peyton Ehmke hit .294 in the match with seven kills to go along with two blocks.
