FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason men's soccer team plays its final match of the regular season on Saturday, hosting VCU on Senior Day with the kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m. at George Mason Stadium.

Mads Tranberg scored his first career goal with a header in the 79th minute to account for Mason's lone goal of the match. Sophomore goalkeeper
Brison Moorhead made seven saves including six in the first half of play against the Rams.
Entering the weekend, the Patriots are tied with Duquesne, La Salle and George Washington in the Atlantic 10 standings. All four teams have identical 3-4-0 conference records for nine points. The top eight teams qualify for the Atlantic 10 Tournament.
VCU is currently third in the conference with a 5-1-1 record and 16 points, behind Rhode Island (21 pts.) and Saint Louis (18 pts).
Akinlosotu leads the team in assists (5) and points (10), while his three goals are second on the club. He is tied for third in the A-10 in assists (5) and ranks eighth in the league in points (11).
Senior midfielder
Ryan Mingachos leads the team in goals (4) and is second on the squad in points (10). He is third in the conference in shots (52) and shots on goal (23), and is tied for the fifth-most goals (4) in the league.
Moorhead (3-6-1, 3-4-0 A-10) has started 10 games and has a 1.79 goals against average. He has made 50 saves and allowed 19 goals on the season.
Mason and VCU have met 33 times, with the Rams holding a 14-10-9 record in the all-time series against the Patriots.
