George Mason redshirt senior Colston DiBlasi has been selected to TrackWrestling's Division I preseason rankings. 
 
An NCAA qualifier at 165 pounds last season, DiBlasi is ranked 23rd in the 149-pound rankings presented by Resilite.
 
After wrestling at Iowa State, the two-time Missouri Valley College Open Champion transferred to Mason. DiBlasi finished his first season with the Patriots with a 29-14 overall record, including an 11-3 dual mark. He set a career-high and finished third on the team in wins (29). He registered 17 pins during the season, second best in the NCAA last season.
 
In five tournaments in 2018-19, DiBlasi place second at the Jonathan Kaloust Bearcat Open (Nov. 11), Navy Classic (Nov. 17) and the Patriot Open (Dec. 9) and finished fourth at the Hokie Open (Nov. 4).
 
DiBlasi was named 2019 NWCA Division I Scholar All-American, one of only 12 EWL wrestlers to earn the honor. 

The Patriots open the 2019-20 season at the Hokie Open in Blacksburg on Sunday.
