FINAL RESULTS
Powell's Point, N.C.--The Patriots' men's golf team finished its fall competitive season at the 10
th annual ODU/OBX Intercollegiate at Kilmarlic Golf Club in Powell's Point, N.C.
Mason recorded its best round of the 54-hole tournament with a two-over-par 286 at the at the par-71, 6,550-yard golf course. The Patriots finished with a 869(287-296-286) team score.
Sophomore J.P. Miller led the Patriots from start to finish with a 54-hole five-under par 208 (67-72-69). He recorded his best finish as a Patriot, sixth-place overall. In the final round, Miller was even-par on the front nine and carded three birdies and a bogey on the back to finish two-under-par.
Senior
Takahiro Nojima carded a one-over par 72 today to finish with a three-round 216 (69-75-72). Freshman
Hayden Miller scored his best round of the tournament with a one-under par 70, 218 (75-73-70) overall.
Davis Soderberg rounded out the scoring for the Patriots (76-76-75=227).
The individual winner of the tournament, St. Joseph's Michael O'Brien stormed up the leaderboard in the final round, posting a Kilmarlic Golf Club record of 61 on the par-71 course. North Dakota State finished with a 26-under par, just four strokes ahead of ODU's score of 22-under. Georgetown rounded out the top-three, finishing at 14-under.
