Fairfax, Va.— George Mason Athletics and multimedia rights partner, Learfield/IMG College-- George Mason Sports Properties, announced today that Mid-Atlantic Sports Network (MASN) will carry eight Patriots men's basketball games during the 2019-20 season bringing the number of televised games up to 16 this season.
 
Returning for its 14th consecutive season with the Patriots, MASN will air the non-conference game against Mason's oldest rival James Madison on November 16. The game will mark the 99^thmeeting between the Virginia schools.
 
The regional sports network will air three non-conference games in December. The schedule includes two home contests, American, who will travel across the Potomac on Saturday, Dec. 7 and the game between notable NCAA Cinderella teams, as UMBC travels to EagleBank Arena on December 21. The game at TCU on December 30 will air on MASN at 9 p.m.
 
MASN will carry four George Mason Atlantic 10 contests that will be produced and aired throughout the country on Stadium. The games include the home-and-home series with St. Bonaventure (Jan. 8/Feb 1), the home contest against Rhode Island (Jan. 28), and the road game at Dayton (Feb. 25). 
 
In addition, the Patriots will appear on NBC Sports Network on five occasions and also have a game on both CBS Sports Network and ESPNU. Mason's non-conference game at Maryland will air on the Big Ten Network.
 
Patriots' home contests and all conference games that are not aired nationally will be carried on ESPN+, the first multi-sport, direct-to-consumer subscription streaming service from The Walt Disney Company Direct-to-Consumer & International division in partnership with ESPN.

ABOUT THE PATRIOTS
Mason is coming off a 2018-19 campaign in which the Patriots set a new program record with 11 Atlantic 10 victories and set a program best with five A-10 road triumphs. Mason returns 11 letter winners and three starters from that squad, including 2019 A-10 Most Improved Player Justin Kier.
