FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason men's soccer team returns to action after a week off, facing St. Bonaventure on Saturday with the opening kick scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Marra Athletics Complex in Olean, N.Y.

Gilian Buijk netted his first NCAA goal with a header in double overtime to lift the Patriots to a 1-0 home victory over Davidson on Saturday.

Freshman forward Peter Massaquoi netted his first career goal, scoring the eventual game-winner in the 58th minute. Sophomore defender Julius Stefansson and sophomore midfielder Isaac Boamah also found the back of the net against the Black Knights.

Junior goalkeeper Trevor Wilson made six saves in the match to record his second win of the season.

St. Bonaventure has been shutout in its first two home games against conference opponents. VCU blanked the Bonnies, 2-0, on Sept. 21 and George Washington posted a 1-0 win on Oct. 9.

Junior midfielder Fredrik Hansen and Boamah are tied for the team lead in goals (2) and points (4). Nine different players have scored at least one goal for the Bonnies.

In the A-10 quarterfinals, the Patriots defeated Saint Louis in double-overtime, 1-0. In the semifinals at the Billiken Sports Center, Mason defeated Dayton, 1-0, in double-overtime to advance to the championship game for the first time since the 2013 season.
