FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason baseball team will be on the diamond for a pair of games as part of its fall schedule.
The Patriots will host DeSales on Sunday, Sept. 30 with the first pitch scheduled for 1 p.m. and Marymount on Sunday, Oct. 14 with the first pitch slated for 12 p.m. at Spuhler Field in Fairfax, Va.
The Mason roster includes nine seniors, four juniors, 10 sophomores and nine freshman.
The Patriots finished the 2018 season with a 29-27 record, including a mark of 16-8 against Atlantic 10 opponents to finish second in the conference. Mason went 15-7 at Spuhler Field and won six of eight conference series during the regular season.
Three student-athletes earned Atlantic 10 All-Conference honors at the conclusion of the 2018 season.

Logan Driscoll was named to the All-Conference First Team, while outfielder
Tyler Nelin and starting pitcher
Zach Mort were selected All-Conference Second Team.
The Patriots also led the 11 Virginia schools represented on the 2018 University All-State Baseball team with five selections, including two first teamers, while Mort was named VaSID Pitcher of the Year.
