FAIRFAX, Va. – George Mason University women's volleyball team earned its first Atlantic 10 win over Saint Louis on Saturday night by a score of 3-2.
Mason started the match strong claiming the first set, 25-17. Ehmke contributed seven of her 17 kills in the first set of play.
Saint Louis responded by taking the second set by a score of 25-19. Mason quickly bounced back by taking the third set, 25-20.
Catie Espinoza registered nine of her 20 digs in the third set of play.
In a nail-bitter fourth set, Saint Louis ultimately claimed the set 25-23.
Marlanna Bozicevich controlled the defensive effort in the fourth set with seven digs.
In the final set of play, Mason jumped out to an early 3-0 lead after a Konchan ace. Mason led for the whole fifth set to seal the victory over the Billikens, 15-9.

- Catie Espinoza now sits second in all-time career digs after her 20 dig effort in tonight's match.
- Mason's defense was unstoppable against Saint Louis with several players registering more than five blocks – Katrina Santos (11), Ehmke (9), Emily Konchan (7), ShaLi Niu (6).
- Bailey Williams posted a double-double with 15 digs and 12 kills.
- Konchan had a season-high 45 assists for the Patriots.
