FAIRFAX, Va. – Erin Donoghue continues to build onto her impressive freshman season for the George Mason women's lacrosse team.

The freshman midfielder was named the Atlantic 10 Co-Rookie of the Week on Tuesday, marking the third time this season she has either shared or won the honor outright.

Donoghue, a native of Mount Laurel, N.J., scored three goals and dished out an assist in the Patriots' 14-6 victory over Duquesne on Sunday at home. She also collected five draw controls and three ground balls. On Friday, she had three draw controls and two ground balls in a loss to Davidson.

Mason (9-3, 3-1 Atlantic 10) returns to action as it hosts nine-time defending league champ Massachusetts at 6 p.m. on Friday at George Mason Stadium in the Game of the Week.
