FAIRFAX, Va. – On the heels of another impressive performance, George Mason graduate student Natalie Butler again received weekly honors from the Atlantic 10 Conference.

On Monday, Butler was named the A-10 Player of the Week for the second straight week and the seventh time this season. The 6-foot-5 center from Fairfax Station, Va., averaged 22.5 points, 17 rebounds and two blocks in a pair of games last week.

On Sunday, in a 71-60 victory over Massachusetts, she scored 30 points, grabbed 19 rebounds, blocked two shots and made 8 of 9 free throws. At halftime, she had 19 points and nine boards as she collected her 25th straight double-double, which leads the country. It was her second 30-plus point game of the season.

On Wednesday, she scored 15 points and grabbed 15 rebounds in a 65-61 loss to George Washington. She also had two blocked shots and made all five free-throw attempts. She shot 92.9 percent (13 for 14) from the free-throw line for the week.

She leads the country in rebounding (15.9 rpg) and double-doubles (25). She also ranks first in the A-10 in scoring (18.6 ppg). She is just the second player in Division I women's basketball history to have at least 25 consecutive games with a double-double in a season. She also eclipsed 400 rebounds for the season, becoming just the fifth player in Atlantic 10 history to do so. She currently has 414 rebounds this year.

The Patriots are back in action against VCU at 11 a.m. Thursday in Richmond, Va.
