KINGSTON, R.I. – George Mason women's volleyball could not come up with an answer against the Rhode Island Rams on Friday night. As a result, the Patriots suffered its fifth sweep of the season. With one league match remaining, the Patriots drop to 10-13 overall and 8-5 in the Atlantic 10.
"Tonight was a great night for our middles," said head coach
Aylene Ilkson. "They did some really nice things but we struggled to put the rest of our game together against a tough Rhode Island team."
The Patriots conclude regular season play tomorrow at 3 p.m. at Fordham. Tomorrow's match will determine the Patriots seeding for the Atlantic 10 Tournament.
