FAIRFAX, Va. – George Mason head coach
Todd Bramble has announced the addition of four new student-athletes that have signed their letters of intent to join the Patriots for the fall of 2019.
"We are excited about the impact these four players are going to make for our program," Bramble said. "We have addressed needs in all areas of the field as Abigail is an attacking player, Grace is a midfielder, Kaitlyn plays in the back and Jenna is a goalkeeper. In addition to our confidence level that they will come in and help our team continue to take steps forward on the field, they are young women of high character who will contribute positively to our team culture as well."
Kaitlin Butcher | River Bend High School | Fredericksburg, Va.
Butcher, a 5-8 defender, was named Second Team All-District while playing for the Bears. She also played for the Virginia Development Academy.
"KK is a great player and more importantly an excellent competitor," her club coach Scott Letts said. "She has the ability to make the right decisions at key moments of the game and has the ability to solve problems on the field with her technical ability."
Why she chose Mason:
"I choose George Mason because it's a perfect environment for me, and it feels like I'm leaving one home and joining another".

"Jenna is always the first to and last one to leave training every session," Pipeline Soccer Club coach Doug Pryor said. "Jenna is the true definition of a great teammate. The team is always first. A very special young lady on the field but an even better kid off the field. Jenna will bring the total package to Mason, she will make every single player and coach a better person when she leaves."
