The Minutemen (4-5-2, 0-2) are off to a rough start in league play after winning the conference's regular-season and tournament championships in 2017. UMass has lost three straight, including setbacks to St. Bonaventure and VCU to open conference. Jack Fulton, Davis Smith and DeAndrae Brown lead the Minutemen with four goals apiece. UMass head coach Fran O'Leary is no stranger to the Patriots as he coached at Mason from 2001-04.Â
