The Rams (8-4-1, 4-0-1) are riding a five-game unbeaten streak and are tied atop the conference standings at 13 points with Davidson. VCU is coming off a bye week, last playing against George Washington on Oct. 13 and picking up a 2-1 victory on the road. The Rams are receiving votes in the United Soccer Coaches national poll and boast an RPI of 45. Junior Siad Haji leads the team with five goals, seven assists and 17 points. The midfielder is tied for second in the A-10 in assists. The Rams are tied for fifth in the nation with eight shutouts, including six solo shutouts by goalkeeper Mario Sequeira.Â
SERIES HISTORY
The Rams lead the series 13-10-9, having won three of the last four matchups. The Patriots last defeated VCU on Nov. 15, 2013. In the teams' most recent meeting, the Rams rolled to a 4-0 victory on Oct. 18, 2017 in Fairfax.Â

With just three regular season games remaining, the Patriots are currently tied with Saint Louis for fourth place with six points. Only the top eight teams qualify for Atlantic 10 Men's Soccer Championship, which begins with the quarterfinals on campus sites the weekend of Nov. 3-4. The Patriots close the regular season against the top three teams in the conference – at VCU (13 points), at Davidson (13) and Rhode Island (12).
