SCOUTING LA SALLE
The Explorers (2-8-1, 0-2-1 Atlantic 10) have not won since Sept. 1, going 0-8-1 in their last nine games. They battled to a 2-2 tie against Saint Joseph's last Wednesday to snap a seven-game losing streak but suffered a 4-2 loss at Saint Louis on Saturday. They are led by sophomore Soji Olatoye, who has scored a team-high four goals.
 
SERIES HISTORY
La Salle leads the all-time series 3-2-2. The teams are meeting for the first time since 2016 and this is Mason's first game at McCarthy Stadium in four years. The Patriots are 0-1-2 against the Explorers since joining the Atlantic 10 in 2013.
 
LAST TIME OUT
The Patriots fell 2-0 to defending Atlantic 10 champ Massachusetts on the road on Saturday. Mason surrendered two first-half goals, including one three minutes in, and recorded just four shots on goal. It was the fourth consecutive game the Patriots had been involved in a shutout, winning two and losing two.

The Patriots host Duquesne at 7 p.m. on Saturday at George Mason Stadium in the Game of the Week. The team will recognize its three George Mason Men's Soccer Hall of Fame inductees of the 2018 class (Raul Ricaurte, Jonathan Borrajo, Richard Edgar) at halftime.
