FAIRFAX, Va. - The George Mason University men's basketball team (9-12, 3-5) wraps up a two-game homestand with a contest against St. Bonaventure (14-6, 4-4) on Wednesday inside EagleBank Arena.

Tip-off between the Patriots and Bonnies is scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday's game will be broadcast on Stadium, featuring commentary from Matt Martucci and Tim Doyle. The game will be broadcast on local television affiliates across the nation, as well as an online stream. In addition, Bill Rohland will call the game on the A-10 Digital Network, with pre-game audio coverage beginning at 6:45 p.m.

PATRIOT POINTS
• Mason is 7-5 at home this season, while the Bonnies are 4-4 on the road.

• The Green & Gold will look to claim their first victory over SBU since the 2004-05 season.

• The Patriots won three of their first five A-10 games, but have since dropped their last three games.

• Mason is coming off an 84-76 defeat to VCU on Saturday afternoon in Fairfax.

• The Patriots limited the Rams to 42 percent shooting, but 22 VCU offensive rebounds led to a 25-4 edge in second chance points for the Rams.

• Junior Otis Livingston II led the Green & Gold with 23 points, 20 of which came in the second half. He's posted 20+ points in five of eight A-10 games and is t-3rd in the league in scoring in conference play (19.5 ppg).

• Junior Jaire Grayer tallied his third-straight double-double with 14 points, 13 rebounds and four steals vs. the Rams.

• Grayer - at 996 career points - is four points away from becoming the 37th Patriot all time to reach 1,000 career points.

• Grayer is averaging 14.0 rebounds over his past two games. He ranks fifth in the A-10 in overall rebounding (7.9 rpg).

• Freshman Goanar Mar posted his 12th 10+ point effort of the year with 12 points (5-5 FT) against the Rams.

• The Patriots commit just 16.4 fouls per game, which ranks 55th nationally. On the other side of the court, St. Bonaventure ranks in the top-50 nationally in free throw rate. Something's gotta give on Wednesday.

• The Patriots are 7-2 when shooting 45 percent or better from the floor this year. But the Green & Gold are just 2-10 when shooting under 45 percent in a game.

• Mason is averaging 76.6 points per game and shooting 45.7 percent from the floor in A-10 play. The numbers show much offensive improvement compared to non-conference play, when the Green & Gold averaged 68.4 points and shot 42.7 percent.

• Mason foes have shot 50 percent or better in the opening half in six of eight A-10 contests. In second halves, Mason has held its opponent under 50 percent shooting in seven of eight A-10 games.

• Mason has been outscored in the first half in 15 of 21 games. The Patriots have held the scoring advantage in 11 of 21 second halves in 2017-18.

HISTORY vs. ST. BONAVENTURE
Saturday's game marks the eighth all-time meeting between George Mason and St. Bonaventure in men's basketball. The Bonnies have won five of the seven all-time meetings, including the last four matchups. Mason is 1-1 in contests played in Fairfax. In last season's meeting, the Bonnies won in Olean, 82-72, on Jan. 7, 2017. Jaire Grayer posted 16 points and hit 4-of-6 3-point field goal attempts in last season's matchup.

A LOOK AT THE BONNIES (14-6, 4-4 A-10; No. 51 RPI, No. 78 KenPom.com)
St. Bonaventure was picked to finish second in the A-10 preseason poll. The Bonnies enter play on Wednesday winners of their last two, with the most recent victory being a 70-52 win over George Washington. Mason will have to play disciplined basketball, since getting to the free throw line has been a strength of the Bonnies in 2017-18. They rank third in the conference in free throw attempts, and second in free throws made. Defending the glass poses another challenge for Dave Paulsen's squad, specifically competing against Ladarien Griffin. The junior from Jacksonville, Fla. ranks ninth in the A-10 in rebounds per game (7.1), as well as third in the conference in offensive rebounds per game (2.79). Preseason All-Atlantic 10 First Team guard Jaylen Adams leads the team in scoring (17.9 ppg) and assists (4.9 apg) while shooting a team-best 47.4 percent from the 3-point line. Fellow preseason First Team All-Atlantic 10 guard Matt Mobley chips in 17.6 points per game and also adds 3.0 assists per contest.

UP NEXT
Mason hits the road for a Saturday afternoon contest at Richmond (4:30 p.m.). The game will be broadcast nationally on NBC Sports Network. In addition, Bill Rohland will provide live audio on the A-10 Digital Network, with pre-game coverage beginning at 4:15 p.m.
