FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason women's soccer team looks for its fourth straight home win, hosting Richmond on Sunday afternoon with the kickoff scheduled for 1 p.m. at George Mason Stadium.
Mason (4-7-1, 1-1-1 A-10) scored two goals in the second half to erase a pair of one-goal deficits last Sunday to earn a 2-2 draw at Saint Joseph's.
Freshman
Amanda Nhek scored in the 48th minute and classmate
Shannon Lee netted her first NCAA goal in the 82nd minute, while Mason freshman goaltender
Louisa Moser (4-3-1, 1-0-1 A-10) made a career-high seven saves in the contest against the Hawks.
Nhek has registered two goals and each of her team-leading three assists over the last four games.
Junior
Emily Littell is tied for the team lead in goals (3) and paces the Patriots in assists (6) and points (12), all career-highs. Junior forward
Rebecca Callison is tied for the team lead with a career-high in goals (3) and is second on the squad with a career-best seven points.
Littell is tied for the conference lead in assists (6) and is tied for third in the A-10 in points (12). She has scored three goals and added five assists over the last five games for Mason.
Senior
Erin Mitchell, who is tied for second on the team with two goals, ranks tied for third in the Atlantic 10 in shots (32), while freshman midfielder
Kayla Hamric is tied for fourth in the A-10 in shots (31).
As a team, the Patriots rank second in the Atlantic 10 in shots (197) and third in shots per game (16.4). Mason has taken the second-most corner kicks in the conference (86).
