FAIRFAX, Va. – George Mason's women's soccer head coach Todd Bramble announced that the team has added defender Írunn Aradottir and goalkeeper Louisa Moser to the roster for the 2017 season.

Head Coach Todd Bramble:

"We are excited to have both Louisa and Írunn join our program.  Up to this point they have had successful careers in their club system and with youth national teams in their home countries.  We are eager to see that translate well to the American college game.  These are two wonderful young women who are very ambitious as they embark on their new careers here in the classroom and on the field."

Írunn Aradottir | University of Iceland | Gardabaer, Iceland | Defender

Aradottir, a 5-7 defender, begins her first year at Mason for the 2017 season.  A native of Gardabaer, Iceland, she appeared in eight games for Stjarnan Soccer Club during the 2017 season.  Aradottir scored 14 goals over the last four seasons, including a career-high six goals in 17 games with Stjarnan Soccer Club in 2014. 

Internationally, Aradottir was a member of Iceland's U17 and U19 National Teams and was called into full training camp with the Iceland National Team.

Louisa Moser | Max-Weber-Schule, Freiburg | Schmalenberg, Germany | Goalkeeper

Moser, a 6-0 goalkeeper, joins Mason after playing with Freiburg Soccer Club.  She has played internationally for the German U17 National Team.
