FAIRFAX, Va. – This weekend, George Mason University's men's volleyball team will play in the RAC for the last time this season as it welcomes NJIT and Princeton in crucial EIVA battles.

The defending champion is currently half a win behind each of the opponents in the conference standings and would get ahead of them with wins this weekend since both the Highlanders and the Tigers only face the Patriots this weekend.

Saturday's match against the Tigers will be extra special for libero Johnny Gomez, outside hitter Radoslav Popov, middle blocker Graham Gresham and opposite hitter Jack Wilson. The quartet of seniors will play in front of home crowd for the last time in their careers and will be recognized shortly before first serve.

Mason dropped the first contests to both teams when it traveled to New Jersey earlier this season, but enters the weekend in its finest form since the start of the campaign. Including last weekend's doubleheader sweep against Sacred Heart, the Patriots have now won four matches in a row. Within the last month, Mason has played nine matches and has come away with wins in seven of them.
