FAIRFAX, Va. - The George Mason University men's basketball team (16-8, 6-5) begins a three-game homestand Saturday with a Homecoming contest against Fordham (10-14, 4-7).

Tip-off between the Patriots and Rams is scheduled for 6 p.m. inside EagleBank Arena. Saturday's game will be televised on the American Sports Network. The game also will be streamed on the ASN website. In addition, Bill Rohland will call the game on 106.7 WJFK and the A-10 Digital Network, with pre-game coverage beginning at 5:45 p.m.

* Mason already has set a new program record for A-10 wins (6) with seven league contests remaining. The Patriots also have eclipsed their win total from the entire 2015-16 season (11) by a significant margin.

* Last time out, the Patriots outscored Davidson 17-6 over the final five minutes to pick up a 76-69 win in North Carolina Wednesday. Mason shot 57.7 percent in the second half.

* The Patriots are 7-2 on the road this season and won six of their first seven road games for the first time in program history. The seven road wins are the most by a Patriots team since 2012-13. Mason was 2-11 on the road in 2015-16.

* Mason is 9-3 combined in road and neutral site contests this season and 7-5 in games played inside EagleBank Arena.

* The Patriots gave up just six offensive boards to Davidson and are allowing just 6.0 off. reb./game over the past two contests.

* Marquise Moore and Jalen Jenkins combined for 39 points in the win. Jenkins matched his season high with 23 points while Moore posted his 14th double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds. They scored Mason's final eight points of the game.

* Jenkins is averaging 19.5 points and shooting 73.7 percent (14-19) over the past two games. He leads the A-10 in field goal percentage (.630) and is third in offensive reb/game (2.7).

* With his outstanding performance Wednesday, Jenkins is up to 978 career points. With 22 vs. Fordham, he would become the 35th 1,000-point scorer in Mason history.

* Otis Livingston II is the reigning A-10 Co-Player of the Week. He is averaging 21.3 points and shooting 58.8 percent over the past three games.

* Mason is t-1st the A-10 in 3-point percentage in league games (.400, 70-175). The Patriots shot 28.5 percent in league play in 2015-16.

* Jaire Grayer is a big contributor to those improved shooting numbers. In conf. games, he is second in the A-10 in 3-point percentage (.500, 27-54) and t-3rd in 3pt FG made/game (2.5). He also is 10th in rebounding (6.6 rpg). He has scored 10+ points in nine of 11 A-10 games this season.

SEESAW SEASON STOPPED AT DAVIDSON
Prior to the Feb. 8 contest at Davidson, the Patriots alternated losses with wins for the entirety of the Atlantic 10 slate. Mason is 7-1 in games following a loss this season, but since Dec. 30, the Patriots are 1-5 in games following a win. That win came on Wednesday vs. the Wildcats, as Mason has now won two in a row heading into Fordham.

HISTORY vs. FORDHAM
Saturday's game marks the seventh all-time meeting between George Mason and Fordham in men's basketball. The Rams won the only game played at Eaglebank Arena on Feb. 18, 2015 (80-68). Fordham has bested the Patriots twice in the opening round of the Atlantic 10 Tournament (2014, 2015). Last season, the Rams won in the Bronx, 73-62, on Jan. 20. Marquise Moore has averaged 11.4 points and shot 52.8 percent (19-36) in five career games vs. Fordham.

A LOOK AT THE RAMS (10-14, 4-7 A-10)
Fordham was picked 11th out of 14 teams in the 2016-17 Atlantic 10 preseason poll. The Rams posted a 6-7 non-conference record and are 4-7 to start A-10 play. The team's league victories include a road win at Davidson (60-54) and a home win over VCU (69-67) in overtime. Four Fordham student-athletes average 10+ points, led by Javontae Hawkins. Hawkins posts a team-best 13.6 ppg and shoots 36.1 percent from 3-point range. Joseph Chartouny chips in 11.6 ppg and dishes out 5.4 assists/contest (t-2nd in A-10). The Rams are 284th nationally in adjusted offensive efficiency, averaging 0.984 points per possession and are 304th in average tempo.
