"The days are long but the years are short." This quote is so true as I reflect on my four years at Mason. From three practices a day during preseason, long bus rides for away games and balancing classes and practices, some days felt never-ending. Now looking back at my time as a student athlete, the years have flown by. Playing volleyball here has been an unforgettable experience that has allowed me to get an education while playing the sport I love and I am forever grateful.
As I move on to the next chapter of my life, I will truly miss my teammates and all the memories, jokes and dance parties. Through all the ups and downs, they have been there and I can't thank them enough for that. I also want to thank Pat Kendrick who gave me this opportunity four years ago and all the other coaches and staff members for everything they have done for me.
As I move on into the "real world", I am confident that my time at Mason has allowed me to develop the skills I will need to be successful. I want to wish the best of luck to all my teammates and Mason volleyball in the future!
Go Mason!
