Editor's Note: Leading up to Senior Night, Patriot Profiles will highlight the senior class with with each senior sharing a personal reflection about their time at Mason. Today, middle blocker Jordan Glass talks about the life skills she developed, adapting to change and the memories she'll carry forever.

I have truly enjoyed my time here at George Mason. I will miss my teammates and wish them much success in their next journey.

Mason has challenged me academically, physically, mentally, and it has taught me to rise to the occasion when I would rather get an extra hour of sleep. I have learned so much in my time here at Mason and felt every emotion possible on the volleyball court! As a captain, I have developed leadership skills, and having had several coaches in four years has taught me how to adapt. Having the opportunity to play several positions on the court has taught me to embrace change, and being a student-athlete has afforded me excellent time management skills.

All of these skills acquired at Mason have prepared me for the real world.  As I close out my senior season, here are a few things I will miss: The pure joy of getting a hug from Trevor every time I step foot into the JC, and I will miss playing in the RAC - which became my second home. From the fans who made each game memorable, to my teammates who challenged me on the court, to the loyal donors who have consistently supported us, I will miss my time here at Mason. 
 
I have learned tremendous life lessons from every coach that I have played for here at Mason, and I am deeply grateful for their efforts to push me to do my very best. I am leaving a sport that I have loved for many years and I'm glad that I have had the privilege to represent this great university and say many times: "We Are Mason!"
