FAIRFAX, Va. – The
third-seeded George Mason women's soccer team begins Atlantic 10 Championship play on Sunday, hosting sixth-seeded VCU at 1 p.m. at George Mason Stadium.
Ticket prices are just $6 for adults and $4 for youth (12 and under). Tickets will go on sale beginning one hour prior to the game on Sunday. Seating at George Mason Stadium is general admission. All sales are cash only.
All A-10 students receive free admission with a valid student ID. Mason students with a valid Mason student ID receive a free hot dog, chips and drink.
Mason (9-8-2, 6-2-2 A-10) finished the regular season with a program record 20 points in Atlantic 10 Conference play. The Patriots went 4-0-1 at home against conference opponents during the regular season.
Mason earned a 1-0 victory over VCU on Oct. 8 at George Mason Stadium. VCU (9-5-3, 5-3-2 A-10) finished the season with 17 points in conference play.
The winner will advance to the Atlantic 10 semifinal hosted by VCU on Nov. 3-5 at Sports Backers Stadium in Richmond, Va. The championship winner will earn the A-10's automatic bid to the NCAA Championship.
