FAIRFAX, Va. – After a three match homestand, the Patriots head to the Midwest to face the Dayton Flyers and the Saint Louis Billikens. The weekend matches have the Patriots playing Dayton Friday at 7 p.m. and Saint Louis Sunday at 2 p.m. eastern time. The Flyers are the three-time defending A-10 champions and the Billikens have won six of their last eight matches.
This is the second time that Mason will play Dayton and Saint Louis twice in the regular season, and the first time since 2015. Since George Mason joined the A-10 and started playing the two teams on a regular basis, they've seen both Dayton and Saint Louis twice in the month of October. This will be the first time the Patriots play them on the road in the month of October. In
Bailey Williams' lone career matchup against Dayton, she put up 12 kills.
SERIES HISTORY
Mason is looking for its first ever win against both teams, checking in 0-7 against Dayton and 0-6 against Saint Louis.

SCOUTING THE OPPOSITION
Dayton Flyers | 15-6 (6-0 A-10)
The Patriots face a team undefeated in conference play for the second match in a row, this time against the Flyers who have won all seven of their A-10 matches. Dayton boasts the reigning A-10 Player of the Week and A-10 Defensive Player of the Week in Amber Erhahon and Margo Wolf respectively. Erhahon is ninth in the NCAA with a .431 hit percentage and Wolf is first in the A-10 with 4.86 digs per set. Saint Louis Billikens | 7-12 (4-2 A-10)
[All stats an info as of Friday]
The Billikens got off to a tough start this season but have since rebounded by beating each A-10 opponent on the schedule so far, with the exception of Dayton. The two-time A-10 runner-ups have plenty of experience as over half the roster are juniors or seniors, and also have sophomore Sien Gallop who's second in the NCAA 0.66 service aces per set and freshman Maya Taylor who's leading the team with 3.36 kills per set.
