FAIRFAX, Va. – Looking to bounce back, the George Mason women's basketball team returns to EagleBank Arena for the first of a three-game homestand.

The Patriots host Fordham at 1 p.m. Saturday at EagleBank Arena. Mason, coming off a loss to Atlantic 10 preseason favorite Saint Louis on Wednesday, faces another tough opponent. The Rams are currently tied with George Washington atop the A-10 standings with a 3-0 mark in league play.

Fordham (12-5, 3-0) has won three straight and five of six. The Rams are coming off a 85-72 win over Davidson at home on Wednesday. Junior G'mrice Davis, the A-10 Co-Player of the Week, recorded her ninth double-double of the season with 27 points and 13 rebounds. The 6-foot-2 forward is averaging 14.1 points and a league-best 12.3 rebounds. Senior Danielle Burns averages 10.5 points and senior Hannah Missry ranks second in the A-10 with 38 made 3-pointers.

The Patriots (9-7, 2-1) had won six of eight before an 89-50 loss at Saint Louis on Wednesday. Senior Kara Wright scored 14 points and seniors Tiffany Padgett and Sylvia Maxwell each added 10 points. Wright, who eclipsed 1,000 points for her college career last Saturday against St. Bonaventure, leads the team and is tied for fifth in the conference with 14.8 points a game.

Fordham leads the all-time series 4-3, including three straight wins in the last three years since Mason joined the A-10. The Rams defeated the Patriots 66-54 in their most recent meeting last year on Jan. 13, 2016 in Bronx, N.Y.
