FAIRFAX, Va. – On the heels of a big road win, the George Mason men's soccer team looks to close out non-conference play by building a winning streak.

The Patriots host Siena at 7 p.m. on Saturday at George Mason Stadium for the Game of the Week. George Mason students with a valid student ID will receive free George Mason silicone phone wallets (while supplies last).

Mason is aiming to win back-to-back games for the first time this season after picking up a 1-0 victory at High Point on Wednesday for its first road win of the year. The Patriots (2-4-1) handed the Panthers their first loss of the season.

Freshman Tunde Akinlosotu scored the game-winner from 12 yards out in the 47th minute on the first career assist from sophomore Ramon Evans. It was the second goal of the season for Akinlosotu, who leads the Patriots in goals.

Mason fended off 16 shots, holding High Point (5-1-1) scoreless for the first time this season. Senior goalkeeper Steffen Kraus made three saves as he recorded his second shutout of the fall.

The Patriots will get their first look at Siena as the teams have never met on the pitch. The Saints (1-5-2) are winless in their last seven games after winning their season opener against LIU Brooklyn on Aug. 26. Siena is coming off a 2-1 loss to Hartwick on Wednesday. The Saints are led by junior forward Alexander Tejara, who has a team-high three goals.

After Saturday's final non-conference tilt, Mason will jump into Atlantic 10 Conference play. The Patriots will play at VCU on Oct. 1 before returning to Fairfax for their home opener against Saint Joseph's on Oct. 8.
