FAIRFAX, Va. – George Mason forward Sarah Hardison has been named the Atlantic 10 Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced on Monday.

Hardison, a senior from Hamilton, Va., had a strong week recording three goals and an assist in two games. 

She scored twice on two shots and picked up an assist in the Patriots' 5-2 win at Maryland on Sunday.  Hardison assisted on the first Mason goal against the Terrapins and then scored the eventual game-winning goal on a header in the 28th minute to put the Patriots up 3-0.  Hardison netted her second goal of the night against Maryland in the 81st minute, when she scored on another header off of a corner kick.

In the Patriots' 4-1 loss to Georgetown last Thursday, Hardison scored Mason's lone goal.  She leads the team with four goals and 10 points this season.

The Patriots are back in action Friday, Sept. 16 at 7 p.m. when they visit UNC-Wilmington in Wilmington, N.C.
