George Mason opens its final road stretch of the regular season with a Saturday tilt at La Salle. Tip in the Tom Gola Arena is slated for 2 p.m.
Mason is coming off an upset of VCU, knocking the Rams out of sole possession of first place in the Atlantic 10 with the win. Four Patriots scored in double-figures led by Shevon Thompson with 17 points and 12 rebounds. Junior Marquise Moore added 15 points, eight rebounds, three assists and two steals in the win that snapped a six-game skid against the Rams.
La Salle enters the contest seeking its third conference win of the season. The Explorers have picked up two big A-10 wins this season against Dayton and St. Bonaventure, both coming at home. Jordan Price leads La Salle offensively, averaging 18.7 points per game and is second in the league in scoring.
