Homecoming 2016 is just one day away as the George Mason men's basketball team welcomes Davidson to EagleBank Arena at 4 p.m. on Saturday. The game will be broadcast on MASN with Jason Knapp and Craig Esherick announcing.

Davidson took the first meeting between the teams this season in North Carolina. Four Patriots reached double-figures as Mason kept the game close and was outscored by one point in the second half. The Wildcats hit 12 three-pointers in the contest and shot 44.8 percent for the game. Mason shot 48.4 percent from the field and was led by Jalen Jenkins with 20 points.

Mason is coming off a road game at Rhode Island. Senior Shevon Thompson posted his seventh double-double of the season behind 17 points and 10 rebounds. DeAndre Abram added 16 points as Jalen Jenkins chipped in 10 points.

Davidson comes into the contest on a two-game win streak after defeating La Salle at home on Wednesday. Jack Gibbs continues to lead the Wildcats offensively this season, averaging 24.6 points per game to lead the A-10 and rank third in the nation in scoring.
