FAIRFAX, Va. – Coming off its longest break of the season, the George Mason women's basketball team returns to campus for the first time in nearly a month.

The Patriots host Navy at 7 p.m. on Tuesday in the Recreation and Athletic Complex (RAC). Mason last played in Fairfax on Nov. 23 – the day before Thanksgiving. Since then, the Patriots have played five straight road games. They'll play a rare game in the 1,550-seat RAC as their usual home court, EagleBank Arena, hosts winter graduation ceremonies on Wednesday morning.

Mason (6-5) has been off for the last nine days as final exams were held on campus last week. The Patriots last played on Dec. 11, picking up their largest road win in 20 years with a 72-46 victory at Illinois State. The win also marked Mason's third non-conference road win of the year for its most since 2006-07.

Senior Kara Wright has paced the Patriots, leading the team in scoring (14.9 ppg), rebounding (6.3 rpg), assists (3.1 apg) and steals (2.1). She also boasts a team-best .544 shooting percentage and a .438 clip from beyond the arc. The 5-foot-11 guard/forward from Louisville, Ky., has led the team in scoring in nine of 11 games, scored in double figures in the last seven games and posted her first three career double-doubles this season.

Navy (7-3) has won five in a row and last played almost two weeks ago, cruising to a 93-40 victory over Division III Goucher on Dec. 7. The Midshipmen are led by Fort Belvoir, Va., product Taylor Dunham (12.7 ppg, 3.4 apg) and senior guard Sarita Condie (11.7 ppg). The sharpshooting Condie ranks eighth in the country in 3-point shooting percentage (53.5).

Mason and Navy have met 12 times, with the Midshipmen holding a 8-4 edge. Navy won the most recent matchup by an 84-79 decision on Nov. 25, 2014 in Annapolis, Md.
