George Mason men's basketball plays its Atlantic 10 Conference home opener on Wednesday, welcoming St. Bonaventure to EagleBank Arena. Tip time on ASN and MASN is slated for 7 p.m.
Mason is coming off its A-10 opener over the weekend, visiting VCU in the Siegel Center. The Patriots fell in the conference opener for both teams as both Marquise Moore and Otis Livingston II posted double-figures, scoring 14 and 11 points, respectively. On the season, Moore and Livingston average 11.0 ppg, while senior Shevon Thompson pulls down a team-best 10.5 rebounds per game.
St. Bonaventure enters the matchup on a two-game win streak, having defeated Davidson most recently to open league play. The Bonnies defeated Davidson, 97-85, behind a career-high 30 points from Jaylen Adams. Five Bonnies finished the game in double-figures. SBU is 2-2 in road contests this season with losses at Syracuse and Siena.
