NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Freshman guard Otis Livingston II has earned his first Atlantic 10 Conference weekly honor, being tabbed A-10 Rookie of the Week, as the conference office released the awards Monday morning.

Livingston is Mason's second leading scorer on the team, averaging 11.0 points per game and is one of two Patriots to start every contest this season. In Mason's first three conference games, the Linden, N.J., native has averaged 11.0 ppg, which includes a pair of 11.0 point performances this past week.

Livingston opened last week's action chipping in 11.0 points in Mason's A-10 home opener against St. Bonaventure. The Patriot was perfect from the free throw line while dishing out four assists and two steals against the Bonnies. Livingston capped the week at Davidson with 11 points on 4-of-9 shooting to go along with four rebounds and five assists. For the week, Livingston shot 40.0 percent from the field and 83.3 percent from the charity stripe while recording nine assists, five rebounds and two steals.

Mason returns to EagleBank Arena to host Saint Joseph's on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
