Facility, Location & Hours

Location
The Academic Services Office is located in the West PE Module. This building is dedicated exclusively for student-athletes. The stand-alone building contains a large bay area study hall plus rooms, which may be used for individual as well as group study. There are also numerous private rooms designated for tutoring one or several student-athletes. These rooms can also be utilized for study purposes if they are not needed as tutor rooms. In addition, there is a twenty seat computer lab solely for the student-athletes.

Facility
The principal purpose of this building is for study by the student -athlete. To maintain a learning environment conducive to study and the enhancement of learning there are a few simple but understandable rules, which everyone who comes into the building for any period must follow.

The operating rules of the building are as follows:
-No food or drink allowed in the Computer Lab.
-Headphones and cell phones use in the building are prohibited unless the headphones are for a specific academic subject.
-The building and its component rooms are not for any form of socializing.
-Neither the computers themselves nor their component parts (keyboard, mouse, monitor, etc.) are to be moved reconnected or disconnected. In any way. If there is a problem, it must be reported to the staffer on duty.

Hours
The building is open weekly from 8:30am until 9:00pm Monday through Thursday and on Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm and Sundays from Noon until 6:00pm. During the fall and spring semesters the building is open each Sunday commencing four weeks before final exams, from 3:00pm to 9:00pm.
