The George Mason women's soccer team plays the first game of a four-game road swing on Sunday at Wake Forest. Game time, originially scheduled for 2 p.m., has been moved to a 1 p.m. kickoff in Winston Salem.
Coming off a 2-0 victory at home Friday night over Illinois State, the Patriots look to carry their two-game winning streak into Sunday's matinee. Alex Myers and Emma Starr scored their first goals of the season on Friday, while Sarah Hardison continues to lead the team with five goals on the year.
Wake Forest continues a four-game homestand welcoming the Patriots after falling to UCLA to open the homestand on Friday. The Deacs are led in scoring by Sarah Medina with two goals on the season. Six additional Deacs have one goal each on the young season.
