FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason women's soccer team was the first team to report back to campus this week, opening preseason camp on Wednesday. The Patriots host Radford Monday night in their first exhibition contest of the season at 7 p.m.

Guided by first-year head coach Todd Bramble, the Patriots reported to campus on Tuesday and quickly got to work with their first two-a-day session on Wednesday. Focusing on early fitness testing and drills, Mason has completed its first few practice sessions and will face outside competition in just a few days.

The Patriots will be led this season by returning seniors Sydney Mitchell, Emma Starr and Amanda Stephenson. Competing in the Atlantic 10 for the third season, the returners will be joined by eight newcomers this season including a pair of transfers.

Prior to opening regular season action, Mason will host a pair of exhibitions beginning on Monday at 7 p.m. against Radford. James Madison visits George Mason on Saturday, August 15. Both exhibitions are free to fans.
