NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - In the season's first Atlantic 10 weekly honors, freshman Stephen Durbin was tabbed as the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week by the conference on Monday afternoon.

Durbin appeared in both games of the Kuykenstrong D.C. College Cup this weekend, the first regular-season action of his collegiate career. The Burke, Va. native assisted on goals by Edgar Zepeda and Jannik Eckenrode in Friday's 5-1 victory over Howard, his first collegiate points. Durbin also headed in lone goal in Mason's 3-1 loss to American on Sunday, finishing a right to left cross from Matt Tucker.

George Washington's Garrett Heine and Vince Cicciarelli of Saint Louis have been named the Atlantic 10 Conference Men's Soccer Co-Players of the Week. 

The Patriots host Albany this weekend at George Mason Stadium on Saturday, September 5 at 7:00 p.m.
