Fanoga registered 23 kills on the weekend, including a career-high 13 in the  Patriots 3-1 win over the University of Howard Saturday afternoon. Partridge a libero from North Carolina, led the team with 41 digs on the season, including a match-high 19 in Mason's 3-0 loss to American in the final match of the tournament Saturday.

COACH'S CORNER
“We talked a lot in the spring about the “ing,” the action verbs of 'growing,' 'changing' and 'evolving' and that's still happening for us,” first year head coach Jackie Simpson said. “ There's a lot to learn and a lot to improve on, but all-in-all, I'm really happy with how the team fought and played together. Everyone had breakout moments.”
