After its first exhibition game at Villanova on Saturday, the George Mason men's soccer team will host Wright State for its second of the preseason on Wednesday, August 19. The match is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at George Mason Stadium. Admission is free.
The Patriots return 19 players from last year's team while only losing one and gaining a total of ten, nine of which are freshman. Mason finished the regular season 4th in the Atlantic 10 and advanced to the semifinals of the A-10 Tournament to finish with an overall record of 11-4-5. Head coach Greg Andrulis returns for his 11th season with the Patriots and is once again assisted by John O'Hara, Trevor Singer and Nate Kopunek.
Wright State finished the 2014 season with an overall record of 12-7-2 and advanced to the Horizon League conference tournament finals where it fell to Oakland.
To access George Mason Stadium, please use Ox Road (Rt. 123) and turn onto University Drive towards the Field House. Please note, there is no access to George Mason Stadium via the newly-opened Campus Drive. Parking will be free around the Field House.
