The George Mason women's basketball team is slated for their toughest non-conference schedule of the Nyla Milleson era, facing teams from the Southeastern Conference, Atlantic Coast Conference, PAC-12 and Big East. Featured on the schedule, unveiled Tuesday, are four home games with three to be played in the newly-named EagleBank Arena at George Mason University.

"As we enter our third year at Mason, this team has put in a tremendous of amount of work in preparation for our upcoming season,” Milleson said.  “Our schedule has a great mix of style of play which will prepare us for the A-10 Conference season.  Our team is excited for what lies ahead for us as we continue to build this program.”

The Patriots open the season with four games in seven days, starting with back-to-back road games. Mason will open the season at Radford on Friday, November 13 followed by a return trip to ACC foe Virginia Tech on Sunday, Nov. 15 before making their 2015-16 home debut against Towson on Nov. 17.  The seven-day stretch concludes with a trip to Utah, the first of two PAC-12 opponents, on Nov. 20.

The Green and Gold will continue its West Coast swing participating in two tournaments. Mason starts with a trip to Alaska for the 2015 CGI Great Alaskan Shootout hosted by the University of Alaska Anchorage followed by an appearance in the Lady Rebel Round-Up at UNLV. 

Mason will then return to Fairfax for a three-game home stand starting with Big East foe Georgetown (December 2) followed by Delaware (Dec. 7) at EagleBank Arena. Following a break for finals, the Patriots will host Air Force at the RAC on Dec. 19. 

The Patriots will travel to Auburn on Dec. 23 to face the Tigers for the first time since 2005. After some time off for the holidays, Mason will close out 2015 with another trip west, playing at Arizona on Dec. 29.
