NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – The Atlantic 10 Conference officially released the 2015-16 men's basketball conference pairings on Tuesday. George Mason will have home-and-home series against Davidson, George Washington, Richmond, Saint Louis and VCU.
For the second straight year, the league's 14 members will play an 18-game conference schedule. In addition to the home-and-home series, the Patriots will also welcome to the newly-named EagleBank Arena at George Mason University home games against Dayton, Duquesne, St. Bonaventure and Saint Joseph's.
Mason will travel to Fordham (Bronx, N.Y.), La Salle (Philadelphia, Pa.), Massachusetts (Amherst, Mass.) and Rhode Island (Kingston, R.I.).
All 14 members will meet in Brooklyn, N.Y. for the 2016 Atlantic 10 Men's Basketball Championship held at Barclays Center, March 9-13.
The A-10 is coming off a season in which six teams earned postseason bids. The league also had six teams ranked or earning votes in the national polls and seven teams in the RPI top 100.
Mason's complete schedule, including its non-conference opponents, will be released at a later date.
