George Mason jumped on the first point winning two of the three doubles matches, but were swepted by Navy in the six singles matches. The team of Brittany Pilington and Esu Erdenebat won a closely contested match at the two spot, 7-6(7-4). At No. 3 Olivia Lacy-Thompson and Scarlett Walston defeated Navy's team of Antill and Rojo, 6-4.

Navy took the lead for good after winning the singles matches at No. 5 and 3. The Mids Summer Raiston defeated Elizabeth Sutherland, 6-1, 6-3 at the six spot followed by teammate Amanda Kellers straight set win at No. 3 singles against Esu Erdenebat, 6-3, 6-2. Olivia Lacy-Thompson fell to Navy's Claudia Mackenzie at No. 5.

The win was clinched when Navy's Audrey Channel won at No. 2 singles with a 6-4, 6-1 win over Morgan Yang. At the top singles position, Mason's Brittany Pilkington battled Sam Droop to a tie breaker in the first set before falling, 7-6(7-3), 6-4. Marijke Boers lost her match after a tie-breaker in the third set at No. 4 to Allie Pavlandky, 7-5, 5-7, 1-0 (11-9).

Mason will participate in the Mary Washington Quad next weekend in Fredericksburg, Va. The Patriots will play matches against teams from NC Wesleyan, Longwood and host Mary Washington.
