George Mason makes its first-ever trip to Saint Joseph's on Saturday after hosting the Hawks twice in Fairfax in previous years. The game will be televised on MASN with Bill Rohland and Craig Esherick announcing.
Mason looks to snap a two-game skid at SJU after falling to No. 18 VCU on Wednesday. Freshman Isaiah Jackson recorded his first collegiate double-double behind 12 points and a career-high 10 rebounds. Jalen Jenkins led the Patriots offensively with 15 points and Shevon Thompson recorded a game-high 16 rebounds. Mason won the rebounding battle, 43-27.
Saint Joseph's also looks to get back to winning ways after suffering an overtime loss at Saint Louis on Tuesday. SJU is led offensively by the league's leading scorer, DeAndre' Bembry, who averages 17.9 ppg. The Hawks' three conference wins this season have all come at home. SJU posts an overall 7-3 record in Hagan Arena this season.
