ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Four players scored in double-figures as the George Mason men's basketball team dominated Saint Louis on the road, defeating the Billikens 78-50 in Chaifetz Arena Saturday night. Mason completed the regular season sweep over the Billikens and picked up its first A-10 win on the road this season.
The Patriots shot 60.9 percent from the field led by 18 points from Isaiah Jackson. The freshman paced Mason in the first half, scoring 14 points on 4-of-5 shooting from three-point range. Jackson finished the game with three rebounds, two assists, and two steals and was a perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line.
Jackson was followed in scoring by sophomore Marquise Moore who contributed 14 points to the scoreboard, while classmate Jalen Jenkins added 13 points. Shevon Thompson rounded out the quartet in double-figures with 10 points. Jenkins picked up his first double-double of the season with a game-high 10 rebounds marking his third career double-double. Mason won the rebounding battle, 34-19. In addition to notching double-figures, Moore added six assists, five rebounds and two steals to his stat line. Behind a 6-for-6 effort from Jackson, the Patriots finished nearly perfect at the free throw line, going 17-for-18 on the night.
Davell Roby and Reggie Agbeko each chipped in 10 points to lead the Billikens offensively. SLU hit six three-pointers in the contest and was 10-for-17 at the charity stripe.
Mason came out of the gate strong, quickly picking up a double-digit advantage by the 8:39 mark in the first half. SLU led for 18 seconds in the contest after Roby hit a three-pointer at the 18:46 mark to give the Billikens a 3-2 lead. Jackson responded with his first of four triples on the night to return the permanent lead back to the Patriots. Mason led by as many as 30 points in the contest.
After closing out this road swing, Mason returns home to welcome George Washington on Wednesday, March 4. Tip is slated for 7 p.m. on the A-10 Network as the foes faceoff for a point in the Revolutionary Rivalry.

On Wednesday, March 4, George Mason men's basketball will host Mason's annual Gold Game, as fans are encouraged to wear gold to support both the Patriots and Ellie's Hats, a childhood cancer awareness program. Game time between Mason and local Revolutionary Rival George Washington is set for 7 p.m. in the Patriot Center. In addition to wearing gold, fans are encouraged to bring a new hat to donate to Ellie's Hats that will be given to a 2-14 year old child that is suffering from cancer.
