FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason men's volleyball team is set to hit the road for two EIVA matches this weekend. The Patriots take on #14 Princeton on Friday, February 27 and NJIT the next day. Last weekend, Mason swept Lees-McRae for its home opener at the RAC.

The Tigers come into this match on a five-match win streak, including EIVA opponents: Harvard, NJIT, and Sacred Heart. Princeton's other win this season came against CSUN earlier this season. Last season, the Patriots split the series against the Tigers with each team winning the home match.
The Patriots hold a 39-23 series advantage all-time against the Tigers. Cody Kessel leads Princeton with 131 kills on the season so far. Chris Kennedy has provided 235 assists to lead the team. Meanwhile, Junior Oboh leads the defense with 34 total blocks.

The Highlanders come into this match on a two-match win streak after beating Coker and UCWV. The matchup with the Patriots will be the lone match for NJIT this weekend. NJIT has yet to pick up a conference win this season, falling to Harvard, Princeton, and Sacred Heart so far.
The Patriots hold a 46-8 all-time record against the Highlanders and won both matches last season. Reigning EIVA Offensive Player of the Week, TJ Jurko leads the team with 127 kills on the season. Meanwhile, Ryan Thomas has had a successful season on defense, leading NJIT with 42 blocks so far.
